Creamy gratin with tomato and mozzarella filled with fresh tuna
An ideal small and fresh fish dish on warm summer days.

Ingredients
8 Aviko Creamy Gratins
with Mozzarella and Tomato
8 thin tuna steaks
50 ml white wine
150 ml cream
75gr small capers
1 tbs white roux granules
Salt & pepper
Preparation
- Slightly thaw the gratins
- Slice the gratins in halves, horizontally
- Place the tuna steaks inbetween the halved gratins and
place in a preheated oven for 15-20 min. at 200 degr.
C
- In the meantime, reduce the white wine
- Add the cream and capers and simmer gently (bind with roux
granules if required)
- Season the sauce with salt and freshly ground pepper
- Drizzle the sauce onto the gratins or serve on the
side
Serve with seasonal vegetables or a crisp green
salad
Tip
Use one half of a gratin and a smaller slice of tuna steak
for an exciting starter or as a light lunch option.
