Minced Beef Hotpot
Great for the cooler months. A really hearty main course

Ingredients
80 g Vegetable oil
200 g Onion, finely diced
150 g Carrots, finely diced
500 g Minced beef
750 ml Water
175 g Gravy granules
70 ml Water
150 g Frozen peas
1 kg Aviko Steam & Fresh Saute
Potato
Fresh chopped parsley
Preperation
- Pre-heat oven
- Heat oil until it is hot and add the onions and carrots to
soften
- Add the minced beef to the oil and fully seal, cook on a medium
heat for approx 10 minutes
- Add water to the mince and stir in. Allow it to simmer on the
stove for approx 30 minutes
- Mix small amount of water with gravy granules into a smooth
paste and it to the beef mix and stir in continuously
- Add the peas and cook out for a further 10
minutes
- Transfer the beef mix into a serving dish and top with Steam
& Fresh Sauté Potato
- Place hotpot into the oven and bake for approx 40 minutes on gas
mark 6 / 200◦c
- Remove from the oven & sprinkle with fresh chopped
parsley
Tip
Serve beef hotpot with baked beans & sweetcorn kernels
