Potato, Cheese & Onion Pie

Ingredients
40 g Vegetable oil
50 g Margarine
2 kg Aviko Pom' Sautees
350 g Onion
454 ml Nilk
500 g Red Leicester cheese (grated)
4 Medium tomatoes, sliced
5 g Fresh chopped parsley
Preparation
- Pre-heat the oven for 20 minutes
- Heat oil in a pan until hot and sauté the onions until
they are lightly covered and softened
- Grease a serving dish with half the margarine on the base and
around the sides
- Layer the serving dish with Pom' Sautees, sliced onions
- Sprinkle half of the melted cheese on the layer of Pom'
Sautees.
- Continue with the layers to 10mm below the rim of the
dish
- Pour milk over the potatoes and finish the top layer with a
sprinkling of sliced onions and the remainder of the grated
cheese
- Add tomatoes to decorate the top of the dish.
- Place in the oven and cook for approx 45 minutes on gas mark 5
/190◦c
- Remove from the oven and check the cheese and potatoes are
thoroughly melted and heated
- Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley.
Tip
Serve with rolled ham, garden peas.
