With recent research revealing that a staggering 73% of people don't feel pubs, hotels, cafés and restaurants do enough to cater for gluten intolerances, there is a clear profit opportunity for operators to open up this side of their business.
The independent research, commissioned by Aviko, looked in to the demand for gluten-free options on menus and found that not only would 59% of people like to see more coeliac friendly choices available, but 21% would be willing to pay more for them. Fail to offer an adequate number of gluten-free options and 29% of people will not return!
Pubs, hotels, cafés and restaurants can be safe in the knowledge that our most popular products - Premium Fries, Wedges, Mash, Hash Browns, Gratins and Mini Gratins - are gluten-free and importantly, don't compromise on taste or quality.
In preparation for Coeliac Awareness Week (11th - 17th May 2015), we've created a handy infographic highlighting the key findings of the research and the profit opportunities available. We're also supporting caterers with free point-of-sale materials to help them shout about their gluten-free menu choices. Find out more about our coeliac friendly options on our products page, which includes a gluten-free search filter.
