Aviko gets a taste for publishing with new magazine

To mark Aviko's 50th anniversary, the European leader in potato products has launched a new digital magazine dedicated entirely to foodservice - 'A Taste of Aviko'.

Available to download from here, the first edition of 'A Taste of Aviko' is an interactive e-magazine packed full of seasonal recipe videos, profiles of Europe's most exciting foodservice outlets and their chefs, tips on how to profit from the hottest food trends and competitions.

Mohammed Essa, General Manager of Aviko explains; "A Taste of Aviko' is a celebration of 50 years of potato passion. We're committed to being an innovator within the potato market, inspiring caterers and celebrating our dynamic industry - the magazine is a reflection of all this and we're delighted to be able to engage with caterers via our very own publication!" As well as delicious recipes to take caterers through an exciting summer of sports and celebrations, the May issue of 'A Taste ofAviko' also includes photography and videos from the Aviko archives dating back to 1962 and a competition to win a set W├╝sthof Chef's knives. Mohammed adds: "Caterers can look forward to three more editions over the coming months with the next planned for August; each issue will have new seasonal recipe videos and advice to keep caterers one step ahead in menu planning. There are iPad and mobile friendly versions also available, so they can take their copy into the kitchen too - after all we do pride ourselves on being the chef's potato partner!"
