Bake 'N' Shake Chips

Remember 'Salt & Shake' crisps? Well, we just kicked it up a notch! Try Aviko’s new SuperCrunch Skin-On Chips with all the wacky seasoning options imaginable… Fry until golden, pop in a bag, add one of the below seasoning combinations and get shaking! What's your favourite bake ‘n’ shake flavour?

Cumin, Turmeric & Salt

Ingredients:

  • 170g 6mm SuperCrunch Chips
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp salt

Method:

  1. Heat sunflower oil in a deep fat fryer until the temperature reaches 175°C.
  2. Submerge the SuperCrunch Chips in the oil for 2-4 minutes until crisp, golden and delicious.
  3. Pop your chips in a paper bag and add the cumin, turmeric and salt.
  4. Get your shake on until all your chips are evenly coated - then dig in!

Crushed Oreo, Cocoa, Chilli & Salt

Ingredients:

  • 170g 6mm SuperCrunch Chips
  • 2 Oreos, finely crushed with centres removed
  • ½ tsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp salt

Method:

  1. Heat sunflower oil in a deep fat fryer until the temperature reaches 175°C.
  2. Submerge the SuperCrunch Chips in the oil for 2-4 minutes until crisp, golden and delicious.
  3. Pop your chips in a paper bag and add the crushed Oreos, cocoa powder, chilli powder and salt.
  4. Shake it off until all your chips are evenly coated. Enjoy!

Crushed Biscoff, Sugar & Cinnamon

Ingredients:

  • 170g 6mm SuperCrunch Chips
  • 2 Biscoff biscuits, finely crushed
  • 1 tsp light brown sugar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon

Method:

  1. Heat sunflower oil in a deep fat fryer until the temperature reaches 175°C.
  2. Submerge the SuperCrunch Chips in the oil for 2-4 minutes until crisp, golden and delicious.
  3. Transfer the golden chips into a paper bag and add the Biscoff biscuits, light brown sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Shake away until the chips are evenly coated. Tuck in!

Chai Tea, Sugar & Orange Zest

Ingredients:

  • 170g 6mm SuperCrunch Chips
  • 1 tsp Chai tea
  • 1 tsp light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp orange zest

Method:

  1. Heat sunflower oil in a deep fat fryer until the temperature reaches 175°C.
  2. Submerge the SuperCrunch Chips in the oil for 2-4 minutes until crisp, golden and delicious.
  3. Pop your chips into a paper bag along with the Chai tea, light brown sugar and orange zest.
  4. Shake the bag until the chips are evenly coated for a delicious sweet treat.

Sumac, Lemon Zest & Parmesan

Ingredients:

  • 170g 6mm SuperCrunch Chips
  • 1 tsp Sumac
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 50g parmesan cheese, grated

Method:

  1. Heat sunflower oil in a deep fat fryer until the temperature reaches 175°C.
  2. Submerge the SuperCrunch Chips in the oil for 2-4 minutes until crisp, golden and delicious.
  3. Combine the golden chips in a paper bag with the Sumac, lemon zest and parmesan.
  4. Get your shake on until the chips are evenly coated. Delicious!
