
Buttermilk Fried Chicken with Premium Crunch Skin On Fries
This succulently spicy chicken with a crisp and delicious coating pairs perfectly with our great tasting fries.
Ingredients
100g Premium Crunch 9.5mm Skin On Fries
200g Chicken Thighs and/or Drumsticks with bone in
250ml Buttermilk
150g Plain flour
Chicken Spice Mix
2 Tsp Paprika
2 Tsp Garlic powder
1 Tsp Black Pepper
1 Tsp Cumin
1 Tsp Thyme
1 Tsp Salt
To Serve
20ml Hot Honey
50g Coleslaw
Method
Mix half of spice mix with buttermilk and place in bowl with chicken to marinate for around 4 hours or overnight
Mix remaining half of spice mix with flour then dredge chicken in flour mix making sure to coak completely
Deep fry chicken at 170°C in batches if necessary for around 14-16 minutes making sure to cook all the way through
Cook Premium Crunch 9.5mm Skin On Fries as per pack
To serve arrange chicken alongside fries with hot honey and coleslaw on the side
